The situation
SAP is committed to investing in employee benefits, resources and support to empower their people to run at their best. With the cost of living continuing to rise, the SAP reward and benefit team was keen to highlight the support available to their people through their benefits program.
The solution
SAP identified their discounts portal, provided by Reward Gateway | Edenred, as a key benefit that would help employees save more on their day-to-day finances.
To drive better awareness, understanding and uptake of the discounts portal, SAP engaged with nudge to deliver communications that were underpinned with impartial financial education. They combined information on how to make best use of the discounts portal and included a direct link to access, along with financial education on how to reduce household bills, enabling people to take immediate action.
The outcomes
The "Make great savings with this exclusive benefit" nudge (personalized communication campaign) resulted in a 48% open rate, 27% click-through rate and led to:
